Free Annual Credit Report
- Consumers are entitled to one free copy of their credit report annually from each of the trhee major credit reporting agencies: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Each credit bureau may have different information, so it is important to obtain a report from each of the credit bureaus. Experts recommend consumers should check their reports each year. It gives consumers the opportunity to correct misreported information and guard against identity theft.
