2010 Bowl For Kids' Sake - Saturday, March 27, 2010

Two KFS teams enjoyed a 50’s Rock & Roll theme as they bowled at the 2010 Big Brothers / Big Sisters Bowl-A-Thon. Together, KFS employees raised $750.00 for the non-profit organization!

Mid-Maine Chamber Business Breakfast Series - Thursday, December 31, 2009

KFS was pleased to co-sponsor the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast Series again in 2009. The Chamber brought many interesting speakers to Thomas College who shared their expertise on relevant business topics. Several KFS employees enjoyed attending these events as well.

Throughout October and November, KFS employees raised $684.00 and collected several boxes of non-perishable food items to benefit the Fairfield Interfaith Food Pantry. KFS would like to thank its customers for their donations as well!

Throughout the month of October, KFS employees collected new toys, books, clothing and other gifts to benefit the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderer's annual holiday program.

Two teams of KFS employees prepared the tourney luncheon and tallied scores at the Shelter’s annual fundraiser.

Several KFS employees rolled up their sleeves and assisted with the set-up and clean-up of the 17th Annual Taste of Greater Waterville. Additionally, KFS employees greeted the event patrons from the KFS booth that was located in front of the bank’s Main Street location.

KFS was pleased to sponsor a concert in Fort Halifax Park as part of the Winslow Family 4th of July Festivities. Several KFS employees enjoyed the music of an Elton John tribute band while handing out beach balls to the large crowd that attended.

A team of KFS employees enjoyed playing in the 2nd Annual Mini Golf Tournament to benefit the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter.

JEAN DAYS - Dress down for a cause! - Monday, December 01, 2008

KFS employees participated in several dress down days in 2008. For a donation, employees were able to dress down in their best jeans on designated Fridays. The donations were given to local and national non-profits such as: Humane Society-Waterville Area, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Sacred Heart Soup Kitchen, Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter and more.
