2005
•  In 2005 - Saturday, December 31, 2005
During 2005, Kennebec Federal Savings staff logged over 400 hours of community service. Over 40 hours were volunteered for the Waterville Area Habitat for Humanity. Another 30 hours were volunteered for the Mid Maine Homeless Shelter. Numerous hours were devoted to youth sports, community development and service organizations.
•  Salvation Army Bell Ringing - Friday, December 16, 2005
KFS employees braved the weather to man the kettles for the Salvation Army's annual holiday fundraiser.
•  Maine Children's Home - Christmas 2005 - Friday, December 09, 2005
Through the Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderer's annual holiday program, KFS employees donated new toys, books, clothing and other gifts to make the holiday special for one local family.
•  Maine Children's Cancer Program - Wednesday, November 30, 2005
Throughout the months of October and November, KFS employees and customer's donated 41 used cell phones to the Waterville Elks Club. The Elks Club turns the phone in for cash donations to the Maine Children's Cancer program.
•  Mid Maine Homeless Shelter Annual Golf Tournament - Monday, September 12, 2005
Once again, KFS employees assisted with the setup, cooking lunch on the grills, serving and scoring at the Shelter's largest fundraiser.
•  13th Annual Taste of Greater Waterville - Tuesday, August 02, 2005
KFS employees donated their time with planning, organizing, setting up and cleaning up to make the 13th Taste a sucess.
•  Earth Day - Friday, April 22, 2005
For the third year in a row, KFS employees grabbed their gloves, rakes and shovels to clean up the green areas of the Concourse.

The staff at Kennebec Federal Savings donated new books, toys, clothing, and other gifts to be given through the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers' annual holiday program.
•  Business Breakfast Series - Thursday, October 14, 2004
Kennebec Federal Savings was pleased to co-sponsor the Mid Maine Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast Series during 2004. The Chamber brought to Thomas College many interesting speakers who shared their knowledge about a number of relevant business topics.

•  National Trails Day Walk - Saturday, June 05, 2004
KFS employees raised funds for the Mid Maine Homeless Shelter and Waterville Area Habitat for Humanity by participating in the 1st Annual Greater Waterville Community Walkathon, which was organized by Kennebec Messalonskee Trails.

A team of five KFS employees collected pledges and bowled in this annual event to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
2003

During 2003, bank staff logged over 90 hours of service for the Waterville Area Habitat for Humanity; over 50 hours of service to the Mid Maine Homeless Shelter; and over 500 hours of community service in all.
•  Maine Children's Home - Christmas 2003 - Friday, December 12, 2003
Once again, the staff at Kennebec Federal Savings made the Holiday special for a family in need by sponsoring a family through the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers. The staff purchased a wide range of gifts for the whole family with items that included clothes, toys, books and gift certificates for groceries.

Kennebec Federal Savings was pleased to host an excellent turnout for the Mid Maine Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours during the month of September.

Kennebec Federal Savings employees donated their time to clean up the green areas in the Concourse parking lot in downtown Waterville.
•  Artist of the Month - Tuesday, April 15, 2003
Kennebec Federal Savings hosted the first Artist of the Month Open House. Each month, a new artist’s work is displayed in the lobby of the bank, providing an opportunity for the community to enjoy fantastic pieces of art.
•  Big Brothers Big Sisters - Saturday, March 22, 2003
A team of four Kennebec Federal Savings employees collected donations and bowled in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake event.
