How do I change my address on my account?

Please  visit one of our offices, or call a KFS Customer Service Representative at 888-249-0606.

How do I set up Direct Deposit?

Call us to obtain a Direct Deposit form and bring it to your employer’s payroll department. If you prefer, visit one of our offices or call a KFS Customer Service Representative at 888-249-0606. We will be happy to assist you.

I have lost my checks or suspect they have been stolen. What should I do?

Please contact KFS Customer Service at 888-299-0606 immediately to protect your account.

What should I do if I suspect fraud on my account?

If you suspect fraud on your account or fraud involving your ATM /debit card, contact us immediately at 888-249-0606.

How do I handle wire transfers?

We can send and receive wire transfers on your behalf.

To Send a Wire:
Visit one of our offices to complete and sign wire instructions.

To Receive a Wire:
Provide the following information to the person or bank that will initiate the wire transfer to your account at KFS.

For Domestic Incoming Wires:
FI Name: Kennebec Federal Savings
FI ABA: 211272614
Credit to: Provide your name, address, and account number for the account you want credited at KFS.

For International Incoming Wires:
International wires are processed through KeyBank
Wires must be in US Dollars.

ONLINE BANKING

What are my User ID's and Password's for Online Banking?

Your User ID and Password numbers are unique and are picked by you when you enroll for online banking. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it online. On the Online Banking login screen, look for "Can’t remember your password? Click HERE". You will receive an email with a temporary password. If you have forgotten your Sign-on ID, please call us at 888-249-0606.

Is my personal information secure when I use this website?

Yes. Kennebec Federal Savings Bank is committed to safeguarding your personal information online to keep it secure and confidential.

When you sign in to Online Banking from KFS home page, or from the Online Banking page, your User ID and Password are sent from your computer to our Online Banking computers using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

SSL is a protocol that transmits your personal information over the Internet in an encrypted form. SSL ensures that the information is sent, unchanged, only to the server you intended to send it to. This technology ensures that your personal information is encrypted before it leaves your computer so no one can retrieve the data.

In addition, all online forms that require personal information are protected with SSL technology, as well.

ATM AND DEBIT CARDS

How do I report a lost or stolen Debit Card?

Notify us immediately if your Debit or ATM card becomes lost or stolen.  During regular business hours (8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday) call 888-249-0606.  Before or after business hours, weekends, and holidays call 800-754-4128.

How do I dispute a Debit Card charge?

Call us at 888-249-0606 or visit one of our offices. We will collect all the information from you needed to research and dispute the charge.

My Debit Card is going to expire soon. Do I need to do anything?

No. You should receive your new MasterCard Debit Card in the mail about two weeks before your current card expires. Your current card is good through the last day of the expiration month that appears on the front of your card.

If you do not receive your new card within two weeks of the expiration of your current card, or if your card has already expired, please call us at 888-249-0606.

How do I replace a damaged Debit Card?

If your Debit Card is not functioning properly or is damaged, stop by one of our offices or call us at 888-249-0606 to order a replacement card. You will receive a new card within seven to ten business days, and the Personal Identification Number (PIN) you are currently using will work with your new card.

How do I find a surcharge free ATM near me?

You can use your KFS ATM or MasterCard Debit card at either KFS office with no fee. You may also use any ATM displaying the SUM logo. Find a surcharge-free SUM ATM.
